Yom Kippur Yizkor Observance

As we gather on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish year, we pause to remember those we have loved and lost. In our tradition, Yizkor—meaning “May G-d remember”—is a sacred moment of reflection, prayer, and honoring the souls of our departed.

We are honored to share that Daughters of Sarah Community for Seniors has prepared and distributed our annual 2025 Yom Kippur Yizkor Memory Book, lovingly created to remember family and friends who have passed. You may download a copy here. This cherished tradition helps our community hold close the memories of our loved ones, whose legacies continue to guide and inspire us.

Please join us for Yizkor Services on Yom Kippur, Thursday, October 2, at 11:00 a.m. in the shul at Daughters of Sarah Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. All residents, families, staff, and community members are warmly welcome.

May the memories of those we recall during Yizkor bring comfort, strength, and blessing.
