Thanksgiving Visits to the Nursing Center

On this Veterans Day, we recognize and give special thanks to our veterans for their sacrifice, honor, service, and loyalty to this country. Earlier today, we held a brief ceremony in tribute to our 18 Nursing & Rehabilitation Center residents who graciously and unselfishly gave of their time, bodies, minds, and souls to defend and preserve our nation. May they always go from strength to strength. With Veterans’ Day now upon us, it is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is only 2 weeks away. Yet, with that in mind, we want to share the visitation arrangements for Thanksgiving Day with you.

As so many of our residents and staff are vaccinated, please be aware that we welcome those families who are interested in having their loved one go out with them for the holiday, to please do so. Arrangements for home visits can be coordinated with your loved one’s social worker.

For those of you who would like to visit with your family members at the Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, we will be having visitation hours on Thanksgiving Day at the following times:
10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Reservations for visits can be made as usual through SignupGenius online through the link on the homepage, under COVID Updates.

Please note that there will NOT be any visitation reservations available from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thanksgiving Day.

Do not hesitate to speak with your loved one’s social worker if you have any questions.
On behalf of the Boards of Directors of the Daughters of Sarah Community for Seniors, we wish all of you a very happy and pleasurable Thanksgiving.
