Your basic monthly rental covers just about everything, including your apartment, individually controlled heat and air conditioning, three kosher meals per day, case management, daily activities and entertainment, lectures, chaplaincy services, laundry and housekeeping services, 24-hour staff supervision, transportation to medical appointments, wireless emergency call system, fitness program, medication monitoring, landline telephone and cable television, guest WiFi, and activities off-grounds. The Massry Residence at Daughters of Sarah is a pet-friendly residence. So, yes, you can own a pet. However, there is an additional fee and you must be able to provide all the daily needs, food, and veterinary care needed for your pet. All pets must be kept inside your apartment except for walks.
The Massry Residence maintains a separate dairy and meat kitchen. Both kitchens are supervised by the Vaad Hakashruth of the Capital District.
Yes, you will need to provide your own doctors. The Massry Residence does not provide medical diagnosis and treatment care.
The Massry Residence does not accept insurance. We are a private pay residence. However, if you have long term care insurance, we are happy to help guide you through the process of obtaining coverage should your plan provide for assisted living care. If you are a veteran, we can connect you with Veteran’s Administration and the NYS Division of Veteran’s Administration.
