Believe me, seeing other nursing homes, I know that Daughters of Sarah has really set the bar for excellence and compassionate caring. I want to say to the other homes I’ve seen, “Go look at Daughters of Sarah and see what a nursing home should be!”
Ellen Westin, Albany, NY
Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center is a 210 bed skilled nursing facility offering 24-hour care to frail and disabled adults. We welcome all individuals of all faiths and all backgrounds to join our community. Our newly renovated Nursing Center offers a cozy, graciously appointed home-like environment in each of our three residential pavilions, offering dignity and privacy to our residents and their families.
Founded in 1942, we moved from an 18-bed private home in Albany to a 131-bed
facility in Troy, and finally, in 1973, to our present location offering 210 beds, most with views of the wooded, natural beauty of the surrounding pine barrens. Our recent renovations to the Nursing Center assure more efficient delivery of quality kosher meals, more spaces for private visits with family and friends, and greater opportunities for care with the utmost dignity.

The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Pavilion sets the elegant and comfortable tone for the rest of the Nursing Center. It encompasses the Rosner Lobby, Business Office, and Village Square area.
The building offers a safe, accessible single-story design, and is located near highways and
public transportation.
