Among the Daughters


With a seating capacity of 70, The Massry Residence Activity Room includes a full, operating kitchen, where:

• recreational programs such as cooking demonstrations allow residents to participate in cooking and baking

• residents gather to watch a big-screen display of movies or other audio/visual programs

• outside groups may hold meetings

Among the many activities held in this room are a weekly news discussion group, weekly wine & cheese social, and our weekly Yiddish club sessions.

Every morning, residents gather in the Activity Room for low impact excerises such as chair yoga and chair dancing. Occasional visiting facilitators may introduce new forms of easy exercises.
