Among the Daughters

Over 35 years ago, our community’s elders pursued a vision to embrace aging in a Jewish way. Today, the Daughters of Sarah Senior Community is a living continuum of elder care embodying Jewish values and traditions.

That phrase, "Jewish values and traditions," is the prism through which we cast all our plans and operational strategies. In an aging-adverse society, we base our awareness of aging and caregiving on Judaism's compassionate spiritual template, which places our elders at the pinnacle of our society.

Daughters of Sarah Senior Community presents an environment carefully designed to facilitate, maximize and enrich the quality of life for all of our residents.

Our cultural life and our facilities reflect this intention.

Our Jewish values are at work not just inside our facilities. We encourage Gamilut Chasadim, helping our residents continue to live Jewishly, performing acts of kindness in the wider community, whether it's knitting caps for newborns in Africa , serving meals at a local City Mission, or helping children in a local elementary school learn to read.
