Daughters of Sarah Senior Community, founded as a not-for-profit, communal endeavor by the Jewish Community of the Capital District, subscribes to the highest moral standards of care, ethical behavior, and honesty. These guiding principles, rooted in the ethical teachings of Judaism, inform all aspects of our mission: to enhance the quality of life of those we serve.
In that vein, Daughters of Sarah strives in all our endeavors to eliminate financial fraud, abuse, and waste. We expect Board members, staff, vendors, contractors, and visitors to help identify eliminate such fraud by conducting their affairs solely in a professional and ethical manner, and by reporting any instances of unethical or inappropriate behavior immediately.
As part of our Compliance Program, Daughters of Sarah has implemented numerous policies to help identify and eliminate concerns. Our Compliance Manual specifies proper behavior and how to report a concern.
