The men and women who live in the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center deserve and appreciate the special attention that sometimes only a friendly visitor has the time to do: sitting quietly with one resident at a time, talking, reading, or even just sitting in quiet companionship.
Volunteer opportunities include helping staff transport residents to and from activities, helping to serve them snacks and beverages at activities. (If you’re unfamiliar with life in a nursing home, the word “transport” means to push someone in a wheelchair or geriatric chair, or help someone walk).

During the warmer months, volunteers are encouraged to take resident for outside visits and enjoy Daughters of Sarah's many beautifully landscaped grounds.
Volunteers at Daughters of Sarah also includes leading religious services on Saturday mornings and helping at holiday celebrations throughout the year.

Volunteers are also welcomed to assist the operation of Sarah’s Corner gift shop.
