We are very proud of and grateful to our staff for their loyalty and dedication to the men and women in their care in Daughters of Sarah Senior Community, and we reward them in every way we can. These rewards – both large and small – serve as encouragement to others to do more than their job descriptions mandate.

Among those rewards is The Tien-Lun Li Annual Caregiver Recognition Award. Established in 1995 by the Tien Family in memory of their beloved Tien-Lun Li, to honor those caregivers who best serve residents in a compassionate and selfless manner.

Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center has received several grants from the New York State Department of Health designed to increase staff skills and sensitivities. We have served as pilot sites for Culture Change programs and other staff empowerment and enhancement initiatives.

Senior Management

As in any organization, the atmosphere and functional environment are results of the strategic and informal messages and modeling from those in leadership positions. Daughters of Sarah Senior Community staff receive the benefits of supportive board of directors.
